How weekly pickup works
Liberty Sanitation runs regular weekly residential garbage routes from our garage in Scott Township. Getting started takes one phone call:
- Call (570) 397-0014 or send the form with your service address.
- We confirm your street is on one of our routes and tell you your pickup day.
- We quote your monthly service and get you on the schedule.
- Your invoice comes to you, and you can pay it online with any card.
Switching from another hauler?
Tell us when your current service ends and we'll line up your first pickup so you don't miss a week.
What goes in household trash
Weekly pickup is for normal bagged household garbage. Some things need a different plan. Construction debris, tires, paint, chemicals, and large furniture usually don't belong in weekly trash. Ask us when you sign up, or rent a dumpster for bigger loads.

What day will my trash be picked up?
Your pickup day depends on your route. We'll tell you when you sign up.
Do I need to bag my trash?
Yes. Please bag your household trash, and ask us if you have something unusual to get rid of.
Do you pick up recycling?
No. Liberty Sanitation doesn't offer curbside recycling pickup. Our weekly service is for household trash. Check with your township or county about recycling options where you live.
What if my pickup gets missed?
Call us at (570) 397-0014 and we'll sort it out.
How do I pay?
